Keith joined Northcoast Research as Managing Director and Equity Research Analyst in May 2009 covering the Business Services sector, with specific emphasis on AIDC technology, Information Technology, Point of Sale Technology, Public Safety, Specialty Technology Distribution and Workplace Safety industries. Prior to joining Northcoast Research, Keith was Managing Director, Accounting and Finance at FTN Midwest Securities Corp, from 2005-2009, where his responsibilities included overseeing the reporting of financial activities. Before joining FTN Midwest, Keith spent 10 years at Ernst & Young LLP in various escalating levels of responsibility, leaving as a Tax Senior Manager.
Keith and his team have developed an extensive array of industry contacts to draw from, including over privately held barcode printing and mobile computer resellers, privately held distributors, and privately held competitors. In addition to providing proprietary equity research and custom research data to institutional investors, Keith is a frequent resource of investors on accounting and tax related questions based on his extensive public accounting experience.
Keith was a contributing author to John Wiley’s & Sons, Inc. Accountants’ Handbook Financial Accounting and General Topics, 10th Edition, 2003. He is an inactive CPA license holder.
